This cotton tunic tee brings together minimal effort and maximum comfort. Crafted from silky-soft organic Peruvian Pima cotton jersey, it features subtle cap sleeves, flattering vertical seams, and a longer length that layers beautifully. Whether you wear it on its own or under a cardigan, the comfort and quality make it one you'll keep reaching for.
Pura is a smooth and dreamy soft all-cotton jersey. It's slightly lighter than our best-selling Eterna fabric, but by no means tissue-weight. The organic fabric is also washed before the clothing is cut and sewn, a rare but very beneficial step in the production process. It not only insures your clothes won't shrink, but also prevents puckering and twisting around seams that often happens in your dryer when the fabric shrinks but the threads used to sew the garment don't to the same degree.
Why will your organic cotton clothing feel otherworldly soft right out of the bag and endure beautifully for years? Because we use the top 0.05% (not a typo) of cotton available. Softest and strongest aren't often used to describe a single fiber. Except when it's organic Peruvian Pima cotton. Ours is grown on two family farms and harvested with care by hand. Simply the best cotton you'll find anywhere on the planet.
All of our dyes are certified to the most stringent safety standards such as the Oeko-tex 100 standard. They're tested for literally hundreds of dangerous substances like Azo colorants, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, and nickel. Our dyes meet or exceed the US Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) regarding lead and the European Chemical Regulation (REACh).
You've probably heard the expression 'less is more.' At Fair Indigo, we're inspired by the idea striving for LESS. A saner wardrobe that makes use of timeless 'forever in fashion' pieces you'll go back to time and again. That's why we build in quality - from the cotton and dyes we select to the extra processes we implement to create a garment you'll love for years. Buy better, buy less, live fully.
Often when apparel brands talk about sustainability, they are talking about making clothing that respects the environment and its limited resources - something to be applauded for sure. But at Fair Indigo, it also means sustainable lives for the world's garment workers. And a sustainable business model that prices clothing fairly, not too-good-to-be-true low (a signal the people were left out of the equation) nor artificially high to promote a future 70% off sale. It's time to move beyond fast fashion. For good.
In addition to living wage jobs, we believe the key to transforming communities from poverty to prosperity is education.
The Fair Indigo Foundation funds teachers' salaries, books, building improvements, and computer labs for children who otherwise were being left behind.

"This is so comfortable! I am looking forward to wearing it while traveling."
"I love this style tunic, but wish the material held its shape better and/or wish for an XXS. The XS especially has too much fabric under the armpits for me as a 34A. Lastly, all the color options are cool and muted ;( I wish there was a bright and warm color option."
"Great length. The shoulders/neck line are a bit wide and baggy though. Love the fabric - feels really comfortable."
"This is my sleek tunic for a 'dressed up' look. The color snd style are wonderful. It feels so soft upon my skin."
"Best, tunic ever. Covers all the bumps and lumps you don't want to show but is flattering and comfortable. Would like it more colors and maybe patterns!"
"I was so sure I was going to love this that I bought it in both available colors! But I ended up returning them. First of all I should have sized up. I bought my usual top size, M, but should have bought my usual bottom size, L, becuase they were tight around my hips and were clearly going to ride up as I moved around. I considered exchanging for the large, but I also didn't like where the horizontal seam fell on me, and generally the feeling that the thin fabric was crumpling and bulging over every little bump on me. It felt fussy and like I would be tugging and smoothing it a lot. I think I would want a top like this to be a bit thicker material, more structured -- though I did love how soft the fabric of the charcoal tunic was. The indigo was a nicer color, but not as soft or stretchy a fabric, it seemed to me (though the fabric content is listed as the same)."
"Super comfortable and cute!"
"So comfortable I sleep in it! So flattering I wear it daytime with tights or shorts and maybe a layered shirt or sweatshirt:-) It’s absolutely one (actually I have 4) of my favorites:-)"
"Holy Cow, these tunics with cap sleeves are beautiful. Like all Fair Indigo clothing, it is made with integrity in all aspects. It is comfortable, stylish, packable and multi-use. Love love it!"
"Looks and feels good! I love the tunic length."
